Cheng-Chin Suk-Yin Rosemary
Mrs Cheng graduated with BA in Sociology, Fu Jen Catholic University, Taiwan, MA in Sociology, Universite Catholique De Louvain, Belgium, and Master in Counselling Psychology, Chi Nan University, Taiwan.
Mrs Cheng is a part time lecturer with ACC. Mrs Cheng teaches the Specialist Diploma In Counselling Psychology (in Mandarin).
Ms Dong is a Registered Psychologist in Sydney, Australia and a Certified Gambling Addiction Counsellor in Singapore. She holds a Master’s degree in Applied Science by Research and a Master’s degree in Health Science Major in Counselling at the University of Sydney, Australia.
Ms Dong’s track has centered along the field of clinical work and research. Being a multi-lingual educator, Ms. Dong has taught and conducted seminars in China, Australia, and Singapore.
Ms Dong is a part time lecturer with ACC. Ms Dong teaches the Specialist Diploma In Counselling Psychology (in Mandarin) and the Specialist Diploma in Counselling Addiction – Gambling (in Mandarin).
Er Oh Khim
Ms Er has been in the field of academe, teaching training courses in counselling and psychology for twenty years.
She worked with various schools and colleges in Singapore such as Trinity Theological College, Singapore Bible College, Methodist Headquarters (Chinese Annual Conference), Civil Service College, Raffles Business International and Tao Nan School.
Her competent ability to deal with people was honoured in Nanyang University where she received the Bachelors Degree in Industrial and Business Management.
Moreover, her noble passion to inspire others in achieving outmost quality in life was cultivated in Wheaton Graduate School (United States) where she graduated with Masters in Psychological Counselling and Graduate Certificate in Biblical Studies.
Ms Er is a part time lecturer with ACC. She teaches the Specialist Diploma In Counselling Psychology (in Mandarin).
Jane Eirene Santos
Ms. Jane holds a Master’s Degree in Family Psychology and Counselling. She graduated with Distinction at St. Scholastica’s College Manila Philippines.
After graduating with her Master’s Degree she became a part-time lecturer at St. Scholastica’s College Manila. She taught subject such as Psychology of Learning and Psychological Testing to college students. While being a part-time lecturer she also worked as a Head Life Coach/ Counsellor at Reedley International School back in Manila. She spearheaded many campaigns of the school such as Anti-Bullying, Career Guidance, Teen Sexuality and Substance Abuse Prevention Campaigns among high-school students.
Ms. Jane also has conducted different workshop and training even as a graduate student. She conducted workshops on Bullying and Teen Sexuality in various schools around the Philippines both private and public. Her workshops are not only for students but as well as for teachers and parents.
She is also a member of Philippine Guidance and Counselling Association. Her passion in teaching and counselling especially among youth makes her a proud to be part of ACC School of Counseling and Psychology
Ms Jane is a part time lecturer with ACC. Ms. Jane teaches the Specialist Diploma in Counseling Psycholgy, the Specialist Diploma in Youth Counseling And Management and the Specialist Diploma in Applied Psychology.
Karen has more than 17 years experience as a counselor. Since this year she has been working as a part-time lecturer for the Specialist Diploma in Counselling Psychology, Specialist Diploma in Teaching and Supporting Children with Special Needs, Specialist Diploma in Workplace Counselling, Specialist Diploma in Youth Counselling and Management as well as Specialist Diploma in Counselling in Addiction-Gambling at ACC School in Singapore.
She holds a Joint Honors Degree in Social Policy and Sociology from the University of Hull (UK), and a Masters of Social Science Degree in Social Works from the National University of Singapore. She also obtained a Graduate Diploma in Expressive Therapy from Queensland Australia and a Graduate Advance Diploma in Children with Special Needs from NIE.
Karen has worked in various settings, which include school counseling, organization, medical social work, private counseling, and teaching. Her areas of interest include Youth Counseling, Special Needs Education, Marital and Mental Health. During her 2 years stay in Japan, she worked with Foreign and Japanese children and adults in both private settings and local and international run schools. Most of her clients had difficulties adjusting with relocation, and relationship issues with their foreign spouses and emergency counseling for work place.
She takes a holistic approach to counseling. This multidimensional approach combines the best features of life coaching, psychotherapy, relationship counseling, mind-body healing and spiritual growth. Karen is married with 2 fantastic kids.
Li Hai Ning, Lucy
Ms Li graduated from China Bao Ji Profession Technology Medicinal College. She is the first cohort to graduate from China Shaanxi Da Kang Psychology Consulting & Psychotherapy Training College. In the year 2001, she was awarded a Practice Psychology Qualification Certificate from China Shaanxi Province Labour Department. In 2003, she continued her studies and enrolled as a Psychology Researcher at China Shaanxi Shi Fan University. With her knowledge and experience, she was assigned to be an analyst and has been to several colleges and organizations for Psychology researches and reports.
In the year 2002, Ms Li co-established an On-Line Hospital Psychology Consulting Physiotherapy Centre in China Shaanxi. She has worked in Singapore Adam Road Hospital and has conducted Counselling in Mandarin.
Ms Li is a part time lecturer with ACC. Ms Li teaches the Specialist Diploma In Counselling Psychology (in Mandarin), the Specialist Diploma In Youth Management And Counselling (in Mandarin), and the Specialist Diploma in Counselling Addiction – Gambling (in Mandarin). She is also the Programme Mentor for these Mandarin courses.
Tan Choon Hooi, Klein
Mr Tan holds a Master in Social Science (Counselling) from the University of South Australia. He is a license administrator for Taylor-Johnson Temperament Analysis (T-JTA) under Psychological Publication, Inc, a Behaviorist Consultant with DISC profiles under MTS-Asia, and also a certified administrator for 16 PF (16 Personality Factors level CF2 and HR2).
In the year 1999-2000, Mr Tan trained and supervised Pre-Marital Counsellors in conjunction with Family Life & Counselling Ministry (FLCM). He focused on counsellors’ developments, case management and train the trainers. He also supervised para-counsellors during the same period.
In the year 2004, Mr Tan worked closely with Academy of Certified Counsellors in providing supervision for students attached with various organisations such as social services, schools, prisons etc, focusing on counsellors’ development.
Mr Tan is a part time lecturer with ACC. Mr Tan also provided supervision to the social workers and counsellors of “We-Sharecare Society for Children and Youth” from 2004 to 2007. Mr Tan teaches the Specialist Diploma In Counselling Psychology, Specialist Diploma In Youth Counselling And Management, Specialist Diploma In Workplace Counselling and Specialist Diploma In Counselling Addiction – Gambling.
Tan Lay Geok
Ms Tan holds a Master in Counselling from the Monash University, Australia. She has more than ten years of experience in pastoral care and counselling. She is a certified facilitator for the Prepare-Enrich programme for premarital counseling, marriage preparation, marriage counseling and marriage enrichment.
Ms Tan is full-time with ACC. She is the principal of ACC. Ms Tan teaches the Specialist Diploma in Counselling & Psychology and the Specialist Diploma in Youth Management And Counselling.
